Dr. Farhad Sahebjam, MD, FACG

Dr. Sahebjam received his medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona. He then pursued hepatology/liver transplant fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and gastroenterology fellowship at Carilion Clinic/VTC School of Medicine. Dr. Sahebjam is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology. His primary interests include advanced liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, and portal hypertension.
He has been practicing at Roanoke Valley since 2015 and joined Gastroenterology Consultants of Southwest Virginia in 2024.
